Josh and Danielle's wedding slide show

I am so excited for today's post! On September 26th I teamed up with photographer Savanna Watkinson and headed to Chehalis for the wedding and celebration of Josh and Danielle. Not only do I love shooting the sassy couple but they chose a great venue that had me looking forward to this day for months!

Here are a couple of my favorite images! (HaHa... As I look back there seems to have been a lot of kissing going on!!)

Josh and Danielle chose to dance their first dance to "Then" by Brad Paisley and I found it to be quite fitting for it to be the song to their slide show! Want to check it out? CLICK HERE!!

Why Mason Jar Photography

There are two main reasons that I have chosen the path of photography... I am emotional and (as time passes) I forget things!! Yep, I said it!! And you might be wondering to yourself, why in the heck would I want to have this lady be my photographer? The answer to that is simple. My goal in photography is to capture raw emotion, both the obvious and the subtly hidden. While I love the excitement of crawling along and running with toddlers, I tend to shed a tear when brides see themselves in the mirror for the first time or when a new mom is holding her child. The emotion that is evoked from me is transparent in my work. I use my camera as a tool to preserve my memories, and now the memories of my clients. I have a two year old son and "while the days seem long, the years seem short" and I just want to remember every second of his awesomeness!
